At First In Care, we believe every month brings meaningful opportunities to honor the people and values that shape our community. July, with its spirit of freedom and recognition, is especially close to our hearts.

As we celebrate Independence Day, we’re reminded of the importance of community, connection, and care. Whether you’re watching fireworks or enjoying a backyard barbecue, we hope this season brings warmth and joy to you and your loved ones.

We’re also proud to highlight July Awareness Month observances:

Disability Pride Month, celebrating the achievements and resilience of individuals living with disabilities.

National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, focused on raising awareness around mental health challenges within minority communities and promoting access to support.

Of course, July wouldn’t be complete without recognizing the birthdays of our amazing clients and caregivers—a heartfelt happy birthday to all those celebrating this month!

A huge congratulations goes out to Beth Hillier, our Employee of the Month, for her outstanding service and dedication. We’re grateful for her hard work and the positive impact she brings to our team and clients.

And finally, let’s give a big round of applause to our Word Search Puzzle Winners:

Latorya S – Freedom Village of Bradenton

Norman – Southwest Florida Medicine

Karen – Heritage Park

Way to go! 🎉
